Pair of Wall Mounted Chest of Drawers by Gio Ponti

Italy | c. 1953 Walnut, brass, ash. 3-drawer chests produced by Dassi & designed as furnishings for the Royal Hotel in Naples, Italy. The hotel building was designed by Gianfranco Frattini, and the interiors were designed by Ponti. The hotel still operates today under the same name and keeps one floor intact with all original furniture.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Wood shows signs of wear and age throughout. Brass legs have overall oxidation. Wood & brass have been recently cleaned and sensitively touched up.
