Model 2089 Cocktail Table by Duilio 'Dubé' Barnabe for Fontana Arte

Reverse painted glass, brass, lacquered wood. Duilio Barnabe (known as Dubé) reverse painted glass top cocktail table with slightly concave sides and convex fishtail ends. Barnabe created a series of painted glass top pieces for Fontana Arte, until his untimely death in 1961.
Signature etched into paint on underside of glass top "Dube * Fontana Arte*".

h. 15.75" w. 51.0" d. 18.5"

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The glass shows slight signs of wear and has two small repairs on the top edge. Lacquered wood is in good condition and the brass sabots have a nice overall patina.
