Cherub Cocktail Table by Karin Van Leyden for Paul Laszlo

United States | c. 1948 Glass, gold & silver leaf, paint, wood. Back-painted, gold leafed glass tiles with reclining figures with cherubs. Karin Van Leyden created many commissioned works for Paul Laszlo in the 1940s & 50s.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. One glass tile on the inside of one leg has a small crack. Several glass tiles have been replaced and some sensitive touch ups were made to the paint & leafing areas beneath the broken tiles.
