Pair of Architectural Lounge Chairs by Gio Ponti

Italy | c. 1964 Ashwood, fabric, brass. A rare pair of open arm lounge chairs produced by Cassina. This model was originally designed for Ponti's Parco dei Principe Hotels in Sorrento & Rome and was also available through Cassina showrooms for a brief period.

Condition: Very good condition. The wood has been recently cleaned up and polished and shows sporadic signs of age. Seats have been recently reupholstered.
