Rare Pair of Armchairs by Gio Ponti

Italy | c. 1946 Walnut, upholstery. Produced by Chiesa Giordano. The cutout shape on the seat backs references Ponti's consistent use of puzzle forms in his furniture designs.

Condition: Very good condition. The wood appears to have been refinished at some point and was recently touched up. Seats have been recently reupholstered.
