Rare Pair of Framed Tiles by Gio Ponti for Richard Ginori

Italy | c. 1928 Enamel-glazed ironstone, wood frames. From the Vendemmia series. Made by San Cristoforo. Hand painted tiles, each featuring 2 figures, La Bevutta and Il Trasporto, which were from a series depicting the wine making process. Each tile is signed on the backside. Sold as a pair. While the tiles date back to c. 1928, the framing was more likely from c. 1950.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Some age and wear to the finish on the wood frames.
