Rare Set of Framed Tiles by Gio Ponti for Richard Ginori

Italy | c. 1928 Enamel-glazed ironstone, wood frames. From the Stanchi series. Made by San Cristoforo. Hand painted tiles, each featuring on figure, Le Lettura and Il Fumatore Stanco. Each tile is signed on the backside.
Sold as a pair. While the tiles date back to c. 1928, the framing was from c. 1950.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Some age and wear to the wood frames.
