Rare Sofa by Gio Ponti

Italy | c. 1944 Walnut, upholstery, brass feet. Dynamic wooden frame with upholstered seat and three separate back cushions. Likely produced by Ettore Colombo e Fratelli, Cantù. Another great design that came out of Ponti's collaborative efforts to help rebuild postwar Italy.

Condition: Very good condition. The wood appears to have been refinished with new upholstered seat cushion and back pillows added.
